The 6th Annual Central Illinois BBQ Throwdown will be held on Peoria’s Riverfront in Festival Park. This Kansas City Barbeque Society sanctioned event, formerly held in Morton, Illinois, is moving to the Peoria RiverFront later this summer. In addition to the BBQ competition, spectators will be able to participate in a backyard BBQ throwdown, people’s choice tasting, craft and vendor fair, kid’s activities, bags tournament, and enjoy quality live entertainment.
